Ciao Bella!
Hope everything is going good for you. Me, I am swamped... with work, hangouts, and planning a future with me, myself and I. Anyway, this is just going to be a small haul of the 1Malaysia Voucher stuff that I got so far. Apart from the Border's Membership Card, which entitles me to a further 5% discount for magazines and a 10% discount for books on my next visit and the Starbucks Buy One Free One Voucher, I got some pretty good things. My initial plan was to get tonnes of beauty and or art and design books. Including the book by Ines de la Fressange; Parisian Chic. Turns out, it retails for over a hundred ringgit here in Malaysia. So, scratch that. Turns out, design books cost a hefty amount as well and since I am done with Psychology... I decided just to buy books that I will read, plus some stationery. So here's what I got... as a summary. Also, my iPhone has gone back to the factory sighting irreconcilable damages so I am stuck googling photos of my finds.
So, the first book is 44 Charles Street by Danielle Steel. Have not read her books in awhile and thought why not. Plus, it was in the Buy 1 and get the 2nd one 50% off section at Borders.
Some sculpting tools, just out of a whim because I thought I would try to make a panda out of the air dry clay Vicki and Michelle got me for Xmas.
One Day, because I had watched the movie the other day and thought that this would make a good book to have in my collection. Aside from the reason that the Sophie Kinsella book would cut me back 70 ringgit and this was in the same section as 44 Charles Street. So I thought why not.
Out of all my buys, I think I am most in love with this one. 100 postcards illustrated with Beatrix Potter's pictures, drawings, paintings, photos and illustrations. Each postcard comes with a little story about the illustration that is on the front. Plus, Peter Rabbit. How cute.
I also bought this book, well, I kind of paid for this one because I exceeded the 200 ringgit limit at the end by 19 so, I actually paid for more than half of this book but that's okay.. I was going to purchase it anyway.
Other finds include water colour paints, multi coloured sharpie's, a drawing block and this months' Harper's Bazaar. Not bad for 200 ringgit. Plus now I can go to Starbucks and read my new books and look totally the deep intellectual type.
That is all for now,
XOXO
